Staff Payment Policy

This Payment Policy establishes the rules and procedures for compensating staff members of Washington D.C. Roleplay (“the Server”). By serving as a staff member and accepting payment, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all terms outlined below. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in disciplinary action, including suspension of pay, removal from staff, or permanent termination of employment within the server.


1. Eligibility for Payment

  • Only active, approved staff members who have been officially assigned a position are eligible to receive payment.
  • All staff positions and roles are voluntary. Payment provided is not employment, but rather a virtual stipend for time spent assisting with server operations.
  • Proof of age may be requested to ensure compliance with Roblox Terms of Service and applicable regulations.

These payments are not wages for employment under any federal, state, or local laws. They are virtual service compensation for in-game and server-related contributions only.


2. Pay Rates by Position

Staff members will be compensated at the following fixed hourly rates, based on their active, approved role within the server:

  • Rates are non-negotiable and may only be changed by server ownership.
  • Pay is based strictly on documented and approved hours logged while actively performing assigned duties.

3. Clocking In and Out

  • All staff must clock in and clock out using the approved system when beginning or ending their shift.
  • Time spent not clocked in will not be compensated under any circumstances.
  • Tampering with, falsifying, or inflating logged hours will result in:
    • Immediate termination of staff position,
    • Forfeiture of all pending payments, and
    • Possible permanent ban from the server.

4. Payment Schedule

  • Payments are processed every other Sunday, based on the previous two weeks of logged and approved hours. While payments are typically issued on Sunday, they may be processed within 24 hours following the scheduled payout day at the sole discretion of server ownership. Delays within this 24-hour window do not constitute a breach of this policy and do not entitle staff members to additional compensation or claims.
  • Delivery of Robux payments may take up to seven (7) days to process.
  • Payments will be made exclusively through Roblox-approved methods, such as group payouts or other authorized systems.

5. Conditions for Withholding Payment

Payments may be withheld, delayed, or revoked under the following circumstances:

  • Failure to follow server rules or this Payment Policy.
  • Disciplinary actions, including suspensions, demotions, or bans.
  • Hours not properly logged or verified.
  • Evidence of abuse, misconduct, or falsification of hours.
  • Roblox platform restrictions or group funds availability preventing immediate payout.

6. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

  • Any attempt to abuse the payment system will result in immediate removal from staff, permanent ban from the server, and forfeiture of all unpaid compensation.
  • Abuse includes, but is not limited to:
    • Logging hours while inactive or idle.
    • Clocking in without performing duties.
    • Logging false or duplicate time entries.
    • Encouraging others to falsify records or assisting in fraud.

7. Disputes

  • If you believe there has been an error with your payment, you must open a management ticket within 48 hours of payment processing.
  • Failure to report an issue within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of your claim.
  • All decisions made by server ownership regarding disputes are final and non-negotiable.

8. Acknowledgment of Agreement

By serving as a staff member and receiving compensation, you agree and acknowledge the following:

  • You understand this is not an employment relationship, but a virtual stipend for services provided.
  • You have read, understood, and accepted all rules outlined in this Payment Policy.
  • You will comply with all Roblox Terms of Service and applicable regulations regarding group payouts and virtual currency.
  • You understand payments are contingent upon good standing and adherence to all server policies.

9. Policy Changes

Washington D.C. Roleplay reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate this Payment Policy at any time, with or without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting.

Failure to follow this Payment Policy can result in permanent removal from the server and forfeiture of all pending payments. By continuing as a staff member, you are entering into a binding agreement to comply with this policy and all related server rules.
